Even if I don't absolutely agree with all tools, it's great to see that I already used the most of them. Thanks for sharing!

BTW: Ignore those "buy a mac" guys and improve what you have!

Hmmm I can understand Firefox as a replacement for IE, but what compelling reason is there to leave Opera for Firefox?

Many of the Add-Ins for FireFox are standard part of the install for Opera, and Opera allows plugins and untold number of desktop widgets, and for those of us that use multiple computers, Opera 9.5 will allow you to store your favourites on-line so you can have them where-ever you go!

Don't get me wrong Firefox is great, I have to use it occasionaly for testing, and it was my browser of choice before the free version of opera. But there is no reason to switch from Opera to firefox or vice versa.

It's amazing that the first item on this list isn't "a non-windows machine + VM". If an Apple is too expensive, then throw Ubuntu (or your favorite distro) and put Windows inside Xen or vmware. There is just no reason for exposing your clients' information by using Windows as your primary OS.

This, btw, then means that points 10-12 are no longer valid as they're Win32-specific.
