Growing up in the 1950's I was introduced to an old English Aunt who had lived her adult life in India, her husband was a geologist if I am correct. Every day at 6.30 he shaved in a mirror while a monkey watched him from a bough outside. My aunt went to clean up one morning and found the monkey staring into the mirror, all lathered up and shaving. She gasped, then burst out laughing as the monkey glanced at her then carried on. This carried on for some weeks, amusing the villagers who came to watch. I don’t want this story to be lost, please pass it along.
